Hierodula Majiscula or Australian Giant Mantis is the largest mantis species in Australia reaching lengths of 4 inches. Like the name suggest they are found in the tropical forests of northern Australia. They are a beautiful vibrant green color with rusty red  under their forearms, with purple on the underside of the prothorax.
