Pseudoxyops perpulchra or commonly called the Peruvian Leaf Mantis ranges from Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Brazil . They are a medium sized mantis with the females being larger than the males. As adults they have large broad green wings that mimic fresh leaves.

This species prefers well ventilated cages and higher humidity levels.
